Welcome to Lake House Bodensee, our pretty unique, realaxing, children and family and pet friendly 2-bedroom holiday apartment, with a touch of love for making you feel cozy the minute you enter. Located just a minute away from Lake Constance, the apartment also has a big living room with a comfy family sofa for rainy days, two separate bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Not even talking about the big terrace and garden all for yourself.
You might might fancy a swim at a local bathing spot just a few steps from your holiday home or go for a hike in the lovely nature of the area. And if you need a break staying inside, the spacious apartment of 75 sqm (more than 800 square feet) has plenty of amenities like board games and some books to keep you happy even during a rainy day. There is also a satellite TV with Fire Stix for you to login to your own Prime Video or Netflix accounts and (binge) watch your facorite series.
If you travel as a group (up to 6 people) and wish some privacy, the two bedrooms can be easily separated by closing the connecting door; then both areas can be each accessed individually from the outside. Microwave, dish washer, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle, oven, hob and more are all part of the deal. With a dedicated parking lot next to the entrance you can load and unload all your luggage conveniently.
We have a heart for the envoronment and responsible travel, therefore only sustainble cleaning products are used. Low level electric outlets have a e hild safety mechanism, and if needed a high chair for th youngest can be provided. Both bedrooms can be darkened completely. Bicycles can be locked and charged on your terrace at the backside of the house.
The apartment is close to a children’s playground and is situated amid a wide network of hiking paths. For paddling on the lake we offer up to 5 SUPs for rent.
Since Lake House Bodensee is located at the edge of the town Allensbach, grocery shopping with Aldi, Norma, Netto, Edeka is at a distance of 1.3 km (0.8 miles). There is a bakery in town as well as an amazing ice-cream stand. We offer a breakfast service in cooperation with the local bakery; you order in the evening and get breakfast or regional food delivered to the apartment in the morning.
We, your hosts Heike and Isa (and our Border Collie Buddy), are not English native speakers, but as avid travelers ourselves, rest assured that there won’t be any language barrier if you need anything. We are always happy to help and make your stay a memorable experience.

Children stay free of charge until their first birthday. Also, one dog can be brought free of charge (please let us know in advance). Final cleaning is included in the price.

For stays longer than 2 weeks please contact us for a discount. Off season the apartment can be booked monthly with a discount. Please get in touch before booking.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations less than one month before arrival will be charged with 40% of the order price. Up to one week before arrival 40% of the booking price will be charged. For cancellations within one week before arrival no refund can be granted.
